Bus from Midrand to Bloemfontein: Tickets & Schedules

It was a terrible experience… the aircon was on the whole 7 hours .. we asked them to switch it off and they refused . I am unfortunately sick and have 2 funerals to attend on Saturday . Very disappointed and will never use intercape again

Intercape changed my bus without notification and instead gave us a BigCity bus which didn't have enough leg room.

The bus was at Parkstation for over an hour. The drivers also did give any indication of how long stops will during the trip. Passengers were left to figure out things for them selves

I get to the pick up point and 3 Intercity Buses come in and leave, shortly comes 2 Eagle Liner buses and I go there only to be told that I was supposed to be on 1 of the 3 Intercity that already left. I ask the gentleman how so cause my ticket clearly says Eagle Liner and not Intercity. He then explains that its 1 company, so now I'm in an Eagle Liner bus to Jhb Park station and I'm told to go to check in and I did so thinking that I'll be placed in a bus shortly. Did I not sit for an hour waiting only so be put in a bus that was so so uncomfortable, there was wind coming inside the window from outside and the stuff is very cocky you'd swear they're doing us a favor.

The bus departed on time however, it had way too many stops . I was supposed to arrive at my destination at 22:30 but instead I arrived at 00:10 and that was a huge inconvenience. Overall I'm. Not happy with the experience .

The bus was clean and comfortable. Peaceful for most of the trip until it started raining, the window I sat next to was faulty and let the rain through the window. That was uncomfortable but gladly did not last long. Later on, a man sitting in the seat across us seemed to have had something to drink and was becoming more sociable, that got to a point. He started making the ladies around him uncomfortable by getting too close and trying to touch them even after they asked him not to disturb him. He continued being disruptive and noisy for the 2 hours we had left of the trip. Close to the end he spilt what he was drinking on the floor and carpet, leaving an unpleasant smell in the bus. As we were getting off the bus he stumbled out, leaving many who were still in and about to get on quite disturbed. Measures should be taken to avoid situations like this and for perpetrators to be held accountable

The ride was smooth and I will be use Big Sky again. At no stage did I feel unsafe.

It was delayed, from Johannesburg onwards. It was a rare occasion for me, as I don't often travel by bus or coach. I enjoyed the ride and my own snacks in getting to the destination, but not the delay so much, though I was calm and not angry.

Long stop for an 50 minutes waiting for Late people and the bus smelled like alcohol and it was loud

The aircon was too cold and made the journey unbearable but finally the driver switched off the aircon and everything was okay.i like the punctuality more than everything. Keep it up

The bus was of 16:00 and I arrived at 15:30. I was awaiting for the bus for about 2hrs. I called Greyhound, their customer care line was so ineffective no one pick the phone. I then went to its Facebook page. After complaining in the lack of customer care, they then send the message informing that the bus is delayed. I followed Up again asking on what time will the bus. No response.

I did not receive the ticket to my email as supposed to be the case. On my last destination I was asked for the ticket by the inspect of which I didn't have. I was tired and the only thing in my mind was to go home and sleep. The other thing, the bus arrived late from my boarding station. Customer care is non-existent. The emails bounced. Some phone numbers listed on the site are not working. The one that happens to go through, the lady answering the phone was very poor.

1st the bus came late too late Time was wasted when we had to change the bus There were no charging pods. But it was comfortable

Enjoyed every minute. Courteous drivers, ample space, leg room. Timely biological breaks for refreshments.

Firstly, the bus was late. It was in such a good condition. When we got to Johannesburg station, we were told to get off that took an hour. We left and then in the middle of the trip the second driver told us he’s going to their depot to change the bus again. We were delayed and the hospitality was terrible

I was supposed to get dropped off in Bloemfontein at 12:35am Tuesday 2 September and never got dropped off. My mother had to drive 2 hours alone to Colesberg to pick me up at 01:00 in the morning and then drive back home and we only got home after 06:00.

The bus arrived very very very late with no communication about the delays. The bus conductors unprofessional and rude to the dissatisfied commuters. I will never ever book the bus again. My kids were truamatised to wait for the bus at Johannesburg from 18:48 to 23:20.

Overally their service is good. The 20 minutes delay was due to leaving Park Station a few minutes late otherwise we would have arrived in Bloemfontein on time.

Please don't waste time. We spent about 1 hour at Park Station. Just waiting
