When leaving from Chicago to Toronto, the bus was delayed by 4 hours. However, on reaching Detroit we came to know there was no connecting bus for Toronto. The worst part was that there was not a soul to guide or advice on what was the best option. Since I was traveling with my wife and we being senior citizens (I am 75 years old) we didn't find Detroit very comfortable in many ways. Therefore, I had no option but to take a taxi from Detroit to Windsor. Thereafter, we took another taxi for Toronto. Luckily we found two more people to share the taxi fare, which resulted in our share to be Can$ 350.00. However, the inconvenience to us was even much more than the financial part. I am hoping that your management will take a note of it and compensate us befittingly.

First of all, the bus broke down and so we had to wait for almost 2 hrs at Toronto airport for a replacement bus; that was extremely difficult with my 6 yr old daughter. Secondly, the buses from Detroit to Toronto and Toronto to Detroit were very uncomfortable, the seats had no seat belts so anytime the bus swerved, we almost fell out of our seats; it was difficult for us to sit still and enjoy the ride.

I ended up spending $700 to book a last minute flight because the driver at London Ontario didn’t show up and delayed the bus by an hour. So I missed my connecting bus at Chicago and spend $700.
