Greyhound Buffalo Newark recent customer reviews
The first bus I rode from buffalo to Rochester reeked of urine. Most of the staff was great but my bus driver from Rochester to New York (Kevin) didn’t seem very well in control of the bus, driving or with passengers. Every time we accelerated or braked, we jolted 5-7 times as it seemed like the engine would cut out then start again. This made it very difficult to sleep, which most of us were attempting to do. Also at our supposed 15 minute rest stop Kevin told the passengers that we had 30 minutes but we were ultimately stopped for around 45 minutes instead because 2-3 passengers wandered off somehow, even though we were only at a gas station. This combined with easily foreseeable rush hour traffic made our bus an hour and 15 minutes late to the station and causing me to miss my bus to Newark and wait from 4:15 until 5:45 for the next bus.

Unfortunately we got bad seats near to the restroom which was stinking. My wife and daughter we're sitting on the last row and they had a horrible experience. Although they did switch the bus at Syracuse but the first 2hours were unbearable.
Didn't expect this from a brand like Greyhound. Also that the bus started apox50 minutes later than schedule
