The bus broke down after one hour, then we had to wait two hours. AC was not turned on during the whole ride. Border control between Bolivia and Chile was extremely slow. Arrived in Calama with a 4,5h delay

Easy to find Bus office at Uyuni. Staff were helpful and direct. We had 2 or 3 stops on the way. Interesting to use the bathroom and get a quick snack literally in the middle of the mountains.
