Bus from Pretoria to Welkom: Tickets & Schedules

Bus came late , we had to switch buses , initial bus was 607 which was supposed to leave at 10 but we hopped on 251 because 607 was in Jozi , and the bus kept switching off mid driving at corners it would switch off , it was supposed to arrive at 15:45 but it arrived at 17h00

The ride was nca, top top. The only recommendation I'll grant is working on the scent of the restroom. I enjoyed my ride✨️

I have been a loyal Intercape passenger, travelling from Joburg and Bloemfontein from the early 2000’s. The appalling behaviour of the driver of bus 247 was a first time experience. He treated both me and my son like rubbish. On Saturday morning, 20 September 2025 (Bosman), Pretoria I approached the bus driver with my son, to hand him my son’s traveling Form (as advised at the counter). I greeted him and he just looked at me with a blank face. He proceeded deliberately to speak to my son in a language that neither myself nor my son could understand (further excercabating the child’s anxiety of traveling alone). He looked at the traveling Form I was interacted to give him like the paper was an irritation to him. Intercape, this is not the 1st time that I notice your drivers get irritable once a child travels alone? Granted Saturday’s driver was set on demonstrating his irritability. Bus: 247 Saturday: 20 September 2025 (Pretoria, Bosman) Destination: Capetown (via Welkom Free State) I expect this matter to be addressed with the driver, and feedback be provided to me. I spent R500+ ticket to be treated like rubbish. Failure of which, I’ll definitely take not only my money elsewhere but I WILL share this exp with counterparts, family and anyone else I’m inclined to. Please do the right thing and address this disgusting behaviour of the said bus driver as I await feedback from yourselves.

I did enjoy the trip the driver also was very kind the driving was good keep on taking care of the passengers

What i did not enjoy: The bus was delayed for almost one hour. The overall conditionin terms of cleanliness needs to be upgraded. The seats and curtains needs some washing. What i enjoyed. The two elder uncles who were driving us were very good drivers, very hospitable and decent. I really respect them. Pity i couldn't note their names. But please keep them, They are the best.

Cramped space made it hard for one to feel comfortable and the fact that I was transferred to another bus from a different company on my way to Welkom really made me angry as the standard of the bus seemed too low to that of yours. Really I had a bad experience.

I did get on the bus then we stopped in Jhb and had to transfer to another bus. Then at Kroonvaal plaza I had to get on the 1st bus that I were originally on, why did they did'nt leave me on my first bus.

I enjoyed my trip and was very surprised when the driver asked if someone will pray before we get on the road. I didn't like the way he treated me when I got on the bus. This was my first time that I travelled by bus and when I asked if I was on the right bus he told me that I must get on the bus not even sure if the bus is going to stop in Welkom.

2 hours late. No help from the company. On the bus no aircon all the way only heat. The bad service from the company it can close it doors and stop using it service in the future

The journey was smooth nothing went wrong

Departure time was changed, but no communication was established. Drove with a bus that is not in a good condition, also raining inside.

It was comfortable and I felt safe. Just a bit humid on the bus toward the end of the trip

The bus was delayed and it was such an inconvenience
