Bus Tickets from Ipiales to Cali

Awful experience. We were waiting at the gate for and hour for them to tell us it left without us. The bus couldn't come into the terminal area so was circling outside 'they said' but no one told us that, so it left without us. While we were waiting at the gate that staff had told us too. They didn't tell us this would happen when we bought the tickets. They didn't come to tell us this when the bus arrived even though we were the only two travellers waiting at the gate.

Staff were all incredibly rude, like being treated like a second class citizen. Weren't allowed cushions like other people on the bus, let other people get their bags first even though we were the first people in the queue, when we asked the conductor if this was our bus as it was open but noone on despite it being 15 minutes past departure times he told us to calm down and wait very aggressively, there was 0 reason for a delay except the laziness of the staff. I don't usually complain but havent been treated this badly in south America yet.

No seatbelts on the bus when the journey through hills really requiere them! Driver was driving all the time over the limit (we still arrived 30 min late), was passing cars ALL THE TIME WHEN THERE WERE SIGNS NOT TO PASS CARS, he was talking on the phone while driving and had to be reminded by other fellow passengers not to talk on the phone, we passed through a red light... And driving so fast in curves and braking sharply ALL THE TIME made the journey unbearable. There were two drivers onboard but the same driver drove the whole 11-hour journey!! Not pleasant at all and especially NOT SAFE
