Find coaches from Salmon Arm to Calgary

I’ve used Rider Express for many long trip throughout Alberta and British Columbia. They have been my go to. Not any more. My trip to Salmon Arm and back to Calgary was the worst trip I have ever experienced. The driver was rude to begin with. His actions on the ride especially around Golden and the Shuswap area was enough for me to sit up and watch the road with him. He continuously applied the breaks and then would speed up and hit the breaks again . Coming out of Golden he was going way too fast to gently get us around the bends of the road. Rider Express and the owner of the company needs to step up and train their drivers properly before there’s a serious issue on our roads that could have been prevented. I’ve reached out to Rider Express to share my concerns and I have heard nothing other than an email expressing that they are looking into it. Not one person in management has spoken to me.

The trip was going well initially. Unfortunately the highway was closed from Revelstoke onwards due to an accident. We had to stay on the bus overnight. The big issue was the lack of communication from the driver. She was not forthcoming with timely information. English was her second language. Not all passengers were aware of what was happening. Information was passed on between passengers. We were left on a dark bus without any heat. It started getting cool after 6 hours. Our driver was on a rest break. Fortunately another scheduled bus came along after 7 hours & picked us all up & took us to Calgary.

The bus driver was so sweet, patient, kind and funny. She made the whole experience better by far! She was talkative and left no questions unanswered. 10/10, would ride again.
