They didn't know about my booking when I tried to check in. The bus arrived late so we left late. The urine only toilet was filled with feces right at the beginning of the trip and there was no water to flush or wash your hands. The heating panel that runs along the side of the bus was so hot you couldn't touch it and there was no air circulation.

Trip was canceled. No information given before hand. After we arrived to the bus terminal they rerouted us to other company. Trip was delayed 3 h and seats were worse than paid.

They are very well organised however they need to make announcements in English as well as Spanish. Their system of weighing the luggage, checking Passengers in and allocating seats is excellent. We left and arrived at the scheduled time.

Bus left Cusco on time, and arrived only 20 minutes late to Puno. Comfortable seats, and a safe and secure journey. Cruz del Sur have a separate terminal to all the other bus companies in Cusco, so the check in experience is a lot less chaotic compared to other places in Peru where all the bus companies leave from the same terminal.

The bus needed new springs and shocks in the back. The lights above the seats didn’t work and the air was intermittent. But the seats were comfortable. The driver was good and the attendant was very attentive.

The seats were comfy but they turned on the heat so high!! I asked the staff multiple times if they could turn it on and off every now and again but I was ignored. 1 member was quite aggressive in his manner also. I didn't get a minutes sleep as it was sweltering hot all night ! 😩
