Rider Express User Reviews
Rider Express receives praise for having courteous and helpful drivers, with some passengers appreciating the smooth journey and well-announced routes. However, there are recurring concerns about non-functional power outlets, limited communication from drivers regarding stops or itineraries, infrequent rest breaks on long trips, and occasional delays in schedule adherence.
The bus ride from Lloydminster to Edmonton can use a bit more working on. There was way more passengers that had their devices speakers on to where everyone can hear their cell phones as well as their discussions on their phones. The transfer of bus drivers could go more smoothly, as one passenger either at the stop or not and the driver wasted more time waiting or making a call to find out if the passenger was coming or not. Greyhound and Red Arrow did not wait nor waist anyone else’s time for one passenger. As they were on a time frame and kept to the schedule. The bus ride from Edmonton to Calgary went smoothly. The driver introduced himself and let everyone know about the etiquettes of the bus, he also let everyone know the stops and times and how long the stop in Red Deer would be. He was very courteous to each passenger and checked to see if we were comfortable. I would like to give a shout out to this bus driver his name is Kelly and highly recommend this driver.

It was an okay trip overall. It's hard for me to sleep on the bus anyway so I won't blame that but I was definitely uncomfortable for a lot of the ride. Seemed like the A/C was off and so the ride was quite hot as well. Drivers seemed nice/ friendly enough. We also arrived about 30-45 minutes after the suggested arrival time. I sat in the back seats so the bathroom door became an issue because it kept opening on its own but at least it was clean. Would not recommend sitting in the last seats because the seats don't recline as well as others and the bathroom is right next to you. As for departure location (St-Laurent), you should add more info because just saying St. Laurent is quite vague and even as a tech-savvy traveler, it wasn't very clear which is not a great feeling when your ride is at midnight. Traveling at night was convenient though and lots of people were on the bus.
