Megabus User Reviews
Megabus receives praise for punctuality and friendly staff, providing a generally smooth travel experience. However, several reviews highlight concerns about comfort due to small seating spaces and cold temperatures on board. Additionally, issues such as lack of Wi-Fi access and unclean facilities were noted by multiple users.
The driver welcomed everyone on board. He let us know that the heat was on and gave us the password for the wifi. He chatted with some passengers up front. He announced each stop. He helped people stow and retrieve their bags. He helped me to get off the bus. He thanked us for taking Megabus. All these things were common years ago but not now. I haven't taken Megabus before so I don't know if all this is standard practice but it certainly should be.

Big bus was comfortable. Drivers were friendly and drove safely. Unfortunately the family with kids could not control their young kid and teenage son. Young kid was excessively loud inside the bus during the journey, often screaming “mom” or wanting some sort of attention. Teenage son was bothering another rider in front of him after Kingston. The rider had to turn around and scold him and his mom had to interfere. My seat was across from 25/26 and could not charge my ohone. The charger kept slipping out. Wifi was not able to connect for most of the trip.

I was extremely disappointed with this trip. The bus I booked was supposed to be a Megabus, but it never arrived. Instead, a completely different bus showed up almost an hour late. The replacement bus was very uncomfortable and did not provide the service that was advertised. The ventilation system was unacceptable. At first, it was extremely cold, then the ventilation stopped working altogether. After that, they turned on a fan that blew freezing air throughout the bus. It felt like the temperature inside was below freezing. Almost every passenger was asking for the temperature to be adjusted because everyone was cold. When we spoke to the driver, he simply said that there was nothing he could do and that we should “just try to survive.” The journey from Toronto to Montreal takes about seven hours, and having to spend that entire time in these conditions was unacceptable. This created a serious risk to the health and well-being of everyone on board. Overall, this was one of the worst bus travel experiences I have ever had. I expect compensation for the significant delay, the replacement of the advertised bus with an inferior one, and the unacceptable travel conditions.

Driver was lovely, bus was clean!! Only complaint was that the bus was 1h delayed in arrival. Left on time but it took 2.5h. It seems very unrealistic the bus would ever reach NF from Union with a stop in St. Catharines in 1.5h with current GTA traffic.

Booking & schedule were fine , left on time. Bus was old and due for refurbishment no usb charge ports , suspension front finised was bottoming out. No washroom stop, bus stopped in Kingston depot was closed no washroom. Drivers was experiencing mechanical trouble withe the buss, i think air break system bus driver actually said nothing. Driver restarted the buss several times before leaving Kingston and stopped another time to restart the buss a few times. Arrived in Montreal oner 1 hour late. Travel experience 4/ 10
