Tracks were flooded just south of Beacon, so train was stopped. The worst part, though, was the lack of appropriate communication, leading to abandonment of the train by large numbers of people, including myself. The problem seems to be ultimately caused by a lack of investment in infrastructure. Amtrak communication is atrocious.
