Full bus. Seat rows close together, impossible to stretch legs. Short, 2 hour, trip; able to tolerate inability to move legs. I would NOT recommend Karat-S for any trips longer than 2 hours.

I was 30 minutes early looking for the bus however on the ticket it did not indicate where the bus would be located. I did not see a bus with the company name and eventually missed it.

I have given two stars for the staff as the woman who checked our tickets was very offhand. She seemed angry that our tickets were on a mobile device and not a paper copy. I couldn't understand what she was saying as she spoke Bulgarian, but she made it very clear that she was put out.

I was expecting a bus, but it was a small, uncomfortable van that took us to Plovdiv. With no company identification on the side of the vehicle, it was a challenge to find it at the Sofia bus station. A Bulgarian woman who spoke English was a real angel and helped me find it!
