The bus took way longer and we missed our connection by 2 hours

Busses were ok. But needed to change in Tepic to continue to Tecuala. The first bus's bathroom was locked. The second was locked but they made keys available. But why lock the bathroom at all? Inconvenient. Also the charger did not have electricity coming to it in the first bus.

First, no w/c on a 5.5 hour trip. Second, the bus arrived late to our connection station. Primarily due to the bus driver stopping and in every little place to let people on and off like a city bus service! We therefore missed our connecting bus. Thirdly, the bus company would not allow us to catch the next available bus to Puerto Vallarta, because we didn't have a ticket for that bus. Fourthly, we then had to find our way to Puerto Vallarta. Uber or taxi were the only choices. So it was an Uber ride that cost $163.00 cdn. 40.00 dollars more than our overall bus ticket costs. So what was originally a fare for 125.00 now cost us 288.00 and a very long day!

Bus from Mazatlan was late so I missed my connection. Then the Nayar sales assistant sold me a ticket for a bus that had already left. Had to wait for 2 1/2 hrs for the next bus. No biggie. A traveller's tale...
