I booked a bus ticket for 5:29pm, having arrived there was no bus at the north terminal scheduled to leave at that time. After waiting for half an hour, the staff told me to go to the south terminal so I had to walk and get a shuttle across. By the time I reached the south terminal it was 6:30, and a bus arrived but did not let any more people on, saying there needed to be space for upcoming passengers to get on. I considered going home but left to get some food as I had been waiting for almost 2 hours at that point. I returned to the south terminal at 7:15 and kept waiting, I eventually got onto a bus at 8:05pm by pleading with the driver, and reached my destination at 11:00pm (I was supposed to arrive at 8:20pm). No tracker apps were working, and every staff member at Gatwick told me something different. Having paid £30 for a ticket, this is unacceptable.
