Amtrak has received positive feedback for its easy boarding process and improvements in restroom facilities. However, some users have noted concerns about insufficient heating, lack of Wi-Fi in certain cars, frozen food options, and discomfort during long journeys due to the seating arrangements.

I was excited when I found out I was taking a train! I thought it was going to be a bus. The seats are very comfortable and there’s plenty of legroom. The train wasn’t packed, so I had my seat and the one next to me, which was much appreciated. The steps into the train were very steep and I had a hard time getting up them because I am very weak from being ill. The person helping people on the train was watchful and helped me with my backpack. It was very hard—if not impossible—to hear the train person on the loudspeaker. The ticket person was thoughtful and patient.

For whatever reason it took 51/2 hours instead of 4, no announcements why we were basically crawling for 10 miles or more. Came too late to my meeting!!!

Upon arrival at Woodbridge Station in VA, there was no way to no what side the train is going to be on. There was no announcement or anyone there to help. 5 others including myself had to run up and down 5 flights of stairs to catch it on the other side, so there was no way of them hearing us say “wait” either. We should've been told which side to be on PRIOR to arrival or AT LEAST have them make an announcement when they arrive and WAIT FOR PASSENGERS TO GET TO THE CORRECT SIDE.
